What Is Vacuum Casting?
Vacuum casting is a precision polyurethane replication process that bridges the gap between rapid prototyping and industrial injection molding. A master model is created via CNC machining or SLA 3D printing, then suspended in a mold box and embedded in liquid silicone to form a flexible negative mold under vacuum. Polyurethane resin is then poured into the cavity under complete negative pressure, eliminating micro-voids and replicating every surface detail of the original master with production-grade accuracy.
